So I am adding a new item that I found that may or may not make it easier. The IRS lists all charitiable organizations that file tax returns. They do NOT list the contact information or the services they provide. You would need to search for that through another site. But I amm including the link and instructions on how to search just incase anyone is interested.
Search for charities through the IRS website
LOCATION : TYPE IN YOUR CITY
STATE: SELECT YOUR STATE
CLICK: SEARCH
SHOW: 500
CLICK : OK
OR
LOCATION : Leave space blank to get a list of all charitable organizations in your state.
STATE: SELECT YOUR STATE
CLICK: SEARCH
SHOW: 500
CLICK: OK
CLICK: CITY ( WILL SORT ORGANIZATIONS BY CITY )
